about

This is the second full-length release from Salt Lake City emcee Atheist.

Following the critical success of Thanks for the Burgers (2012) and The Roger EP (2013), Atheist worked with producers from around the world to make an entertaining album for anyone who doesn't take hip-hop too seriously.

Atheist also worked with respected emcees and vocalists. Raashan Ahmad (Crown City Rockers), Alicia Faith (Sin City Soul), sOuL, and House of Lewis add their own styles to the project.

DJ SkratchMo from Crate Dwellers is featured on two tracks, including one where he really gets to showcase his abilities on the turntables. Show Me Island, a ska band from Salt Lake City, collaborated with Atheist on a track that's been a local hit since they started performing it earlier this year. And last but not lease, Sykie, an SLC producer, turns "MIkey Was the Best" (a track from Thanks for the Burgers) on its head in an exciting, amped up remix.

In all, this is a year-long effort boiled down into sixty minutes of great music.
